Mistah Dale has been aptly described as your favourite Soca artist’s favourite Soca artist. As an influential artist within the Soca genre, he has been able to remain relevant and have secured victories and prominent placements in many of Barbados’ national contests, ranking him among the most successful of this century.

These victories include winning the coveted People’s Monarch title on multiple occasions (2007- Soca Junkie, and 2010- Drop it), making him one of the few artistes to achieve this feat. He is also a former Road March winner with the Globally Iconic Soca anthem Soca Junkie.

One of the highlights of his career to date has been his selection as one of only 6 from some 300 artistes to represent The Caribbean as a musical Ambassador and perform at the 2012 London Olympics Diaspora Showcase and it does not end there.

Mistah Dale is a five- time Barbados Music Award winner, and has also won a prestigious International Soca Music Award. His videos on Youtube have received millions of views, and he has also received the Dame Elsie Payne Award of Excellence, one of the island’s most prestigious honours.

One of Barbados’ and the Caribbean’s most in-demand and consistently successful songwriters, he has penned bona-fide hits not only for himself, but also for the likes of Trinidad’s soca diva Destra Garcia, Barbados’ Global soca Queen Alison Hinds, T.C, Natahlee, Mikey, St. Maarten’s Rolling Tones, St. Lucia’s Nicole David and Grenada’s Luni Spark and Electrify to name a few. Corporate clients also include UN Women and The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA). His latest song for IICA, the amazing “Farmer’s Anthem” recently saw him being bestowed with the honor “ Friend of the Americas”

His performances have taken him across the globe, most recently on a 10-city European tour, with performances at major World Music Festival venues.
